Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones! As we winded up 2008, The Shepherd's Cafe held a special Advent event on December 13th in Dallas with the Sisters of Life. Young Serra Band opened up the cafe and we concluded with a wonderful Advent reflection by Sister Mary Gabriel and closed with music led by Sister Mary Clair, Brother Mariano, CFR, and few of the YS Band members. We are back!

Peace be with you!!! Most of our TSC Staff were gone the month of July to attend World Youth Day in Sydney, Australia. We are back now filled with the Holy Spirit after an amazing grace-filled pilgrimage! The cafe will be open this month for an exciting event! We have missed our TSC friends and hope to see many of you on August 23rd at 6:00pm!

Preparing for Easter

Once again The Shepherd’s Café was a great success. Youth and young adults from all around the metro-plex came together to worship our Lord. On Saturday, February 23rd, we had about 85 people in attendance. Our Lord continues to bless the café. Praise God! More »

On Saturday, January 26th, 2008, the Shepherd's Cafe gathered at its new location, Saint Maria Goretti in Arlington. With Arlington being a more centralized location, we had a record attendance of over one hundred people including staff and religious. More »

December month Cancelled

With the church move, we have contacted several parishes for the use of their facility. However, we were unable to find one for the last two months. Let us not give up, but rely even more so in God to lead the way. Please check back for January location because we plan on starting TSC back up in January. Until then...we will keep knocking on doors and I'm confident our Lord will open one for us. Peace and God bless.

The month of October brought another successful round of Christ and coffee at The Shepherd's Cafe. October's TSC took a slightly different format than previous TSC events. Due to other events happening at the parish, the evening began at the coffee house and was concluded with Holy Hour. However, one thing didn't change...the coffee kept flowing! More »
